Identification Timeline

  • Early September: Test Scores and assessments are administered and received from testing companies and district sources.

  • Mid September: All students (K-12) scores are assessed for placement in the program.

  • End September: Students identified and ACE Schedule is created

  • Early-Mid October: Letters are emailed home

  • Mid-End October: Permission slips gathered and final schedule changes made

  • Mid-End October: ACE classes begin

  • December 1 - Parent Appeal Due

  • February - Scale of Performance Criteria forms are distributed to teachers (Due by last day of school)

  • Mid-End November - Parent Appeals decisions are mailed home

  • May: Students participate in NJSLA Assessments

  • Late May: Scale of Performance Criteria forms are collected

  • June: Scale of Performance Criteria forms review begins and continues in September
