It is with great pleasure that I announce a wonderful achievement for the MMS Math Team. Every year the team participates in the American Scholastic Mathematics Association's series of international math contests.
This year we competed with over 100 middle schools from the United States and the international community from cities in
Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
The contest is a series of six contests given over the course of the school year. Schools are then ranked by levels of excellence. The MMS Math Team attained a score of First Place this year!
