Congratulations to the CGHS Wrestling team who was recognized at the March 18th Board of Education meeting for winning the Super Essex Conference Liberty Division Championship for the second straight season. The team finished 5-0 in the SEC Liberty Division and now has a two year record of 11-0 in the division.


Congratulations to the CGHS Boys Basketball team who was recognized at the March 18th Board of Education meeting for winning the Super Essex Conference National Division Championship. The team finished 19-6 on the season and 13-1 in the SEC National Division.


Congratulations to our Clifton/CG/PV Tri-op Ice Hockey team who was recognized at the March 18th Board of Education meeting for winning the Big North Conference Patriot Division Championship. The team finished 11-9 on the season and 5-1 in the BNC Patriot Division.


Congratulations to the CGHS Competition Cheer team who was recognized at the March 18th Board of Education meeting for winning the NJCDCA Group 1 Cheer & Dance Division State Championship.


Congratulations to the CGHS Competitive Cheer team on a very successful trip to the UCA National High School Competition in Orlando, Florida, this past week. For the first time in school history, the team advanced to the semi-final round and finished in the top 10 in the nation in the Medium Varsity Division II flight.



This week, AP Psychology is finishing up our Development Pillar. We have been carrying around our "sock" babies, learning how challenging parenting is. We have looked at Piaget, Vygotsky, Ainsworth, and Harlow's theories through the eyes of our sock babies. It has been a fun, but long two weeks, according to the new "moms" and "dads".
