Congratulations to the Cedar Grove Baseball team for its banner season and winning the NJSIAA North 2 Group 1 State Sectional Championship. The team finished 20-10 on the season as they captured the Super Essex Conference Colonial Division Championship for the third season in a row.

In the state sectional final powered by a perfect day at the plate by Xavier Andujar, complete with a clutch homer, third-seeded Cedar Grove earned its first sectional title in 23 years by taking an 11-5 win over fourth-seeded Hanover Park in the North 2 Group 1 State Final.
