Memorial Middle School

Our 5th grade students are learning physics through excitement! Using K'NEX sets, they're designing and building roller coasters while exploring potential energy, kinetic energy, and gravity in action. As they follow the engineering design process (planning, creating, testing, and redesigning), students discover how energy transfers keep their coasters moving along the track. These hands-on projects transform complex STEM concepts into thrilling learning experiences, building problem-solving skills and creativity one loop at a time!
