Congratulations to our 5th grade ACE students that participated in Totally Global hosted by the Essex County Steering Committee for Gifted and Talented Students. Two students placed in the competition. Totally Global is a social studies based round robin trivia competition. Students from various districts in Essex County including Verona, Belleville, Essex Fells, Roseland, West Orange, and Fairfield are placed into random groups with students from other towns. It is in these groups that they have to learn to cooperate, make new acquaintances and solve the problems at each station.
Our first place team member this year was Mikaela Febres. Our Second place team member was Victoria Bania. Congratulations!
