Dear NE & SE Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to the 2025 - 26 school year!
The Genesis Parent Portal will open for you to view teacher assignments on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
In an effort to prepare for the pending school year, our IT department has been working feverishly to get many things ready for our opening. Our student data management system has generated a Genesis Parent Portal account for you. All new families and incoming PK & Kindergarten families (without an older sibling and/or previous parent portal account) should receive an email within the next few days with important information regarding access to the portal.
This email will be sent to the parent listed as Guardian 1 on your child’s initial registration form. This parent/guardian will receive a temporary login/password for the Genesis Parent Portal account. The email will come from networksupport@cgschools.org. Remember, this is only for families new to the district who do not have an existing account. Please check your spam if you do not receive the email by Thursday, August 21. If you haven't received it, please email your building principal so we can follow-up and resend. It is very important to access your account as soon as possible so that you can login and establish a new password for yourself. Keep this in a safe place as you will need it throughout your child's days at elementary school and beyond to MMS & CGHS.
There are forms that will need to be completed in the portal. These forms are presently available to you for completion/signature.
During the week of August 25th, you will receive a welcome back letter that outlines a plethora of information regarding the start of the school year and our opening procedures. As always, should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our office.
