South End Elementary

Our first graders have been so excited to learn about fiction and nonfiction books. Students have been focusing on nonfiction books and have been learning about so many different subjects.  They have been exploring many different topics on their own that interest them and recording different facts that they find interesting. Some topics explored include bears, planets, snow, koalas, rabbits and bulldogs. They have been using Epic! Books to focus on their research.
