South End Elementary

On September 15th, our first graders celebrated Dot Day! Students read the story “The Dot” and learned how they can make their mark on the world.  First graders decorated a ‘dot’ using different colors and imaginations! As an activity to accompany the book, students painted rocks and placed them in the Reading Garden. First graders loved seeing all of the rocks their friends decorated!
