South End Elementary

The second grade has been very busy with their addition problem solving skills. The kids are diving deep into partials sums, drawing models, open number line, and using the hundreds chart to add for 2 digit numbers. To help better prepare them for 4 addends we had the children participate in a fun STEAM activity. The children built Lego Cities while practicing their fact fluency. The kids were completely engaged and want this to become a regular in our rotation of kinesthetic activities! Go Second Grade!
