South End Elementary

Third graders have been working hard on their cursive skills! They have practiced many letters that begin with the undercurve formation. These letters include lowercase b, e, f, h, i, j, k, l, t, and w. The next set of letters begin with an overcurve. These letters include a, c, d, g, o, q, y, and z. As they learn new letters, it is exciting to learn how they connect to begin the form words! They have already written many basic words! By the end of the year, the students will be able to write their name in cursive and practice their signature!
