South End Elementary

The kindergarten students are having so much fun during their plant unit! Students began by planting their very own seeds and learning about what plants need to grow, including sunlight, water, air, and soil. The students were excited to observe how much their gardens are growing each day and enjoy checking on their plants regularly.Throughout the unit, students have been learning about the life cycle of a plant and discussing how seeds grow into plants. Students are also learning the importance of caring for living things by watering their plants and making sure they have everything they need to thrive.
