Third graders have been working with a partner on an End-of-the-Year Carnival/Zoo Project in Math! This project incorporates math skills learned throughout the year such as multiplication, area, perimeter, and elapsed time! Together, each group considered how much money it is to rent the equipment, created a blueprint of the space, created a schedule for their “employees”, and budgeted their money in the end. Students really enjoyed working together on this and were happy to share their designs with their class!
